March 22, 2022 - The RightLine Report ********************************** NOTES FROM THE EDITOR **********************************
Volatility is a fact of life in the stock market. For traders holding at least a few days, it's important to keep stop losses wide enough to ride out the daily gyrations - while at the same time, keeping risk to a manageable minimum. It's a balancing act that's easier said than done.

Clearly define how you see the market. 2. Know under what circumstances you will enter it. 3. Determine in advance what has to happen for you to accept that your trade is or isn't working. 4. Know when to exit your position. *********************************** STOCKS COVERED IN THIS ISSUE *********************************** CONSUMER CYCLICAL SECTOR Flexsteel Industries, Inc. (FLXS: Consumer Cyclical/Furnishings, Fixtures & Appliances) - SQUEEZE PLAY. Traders are feeling the pressure as FLXS's intra-day price range on Tuesday shrunk to the narrowest spread in over a week. The tension between buyers and sellers should provide enough pent-up engergy for a breakout move in the days ahead, so get ready to trade with the new trend. To achieve that, place a BUY entry at 21.55 and a SELL short entry at 19.9. FLXS's price movement will decide which entry is filled. As soon as you're in the trade, enter a 1.65 trailing stop. Tighten it to 0.83 after you get a 2.4 gain. FLXS closed Tuesday at 21.20. Earnings Report Date: Apr 25, 2022. Beta: 0.86. Market-Cap: 120.204M. Not Optionable. ENERGY SECTOR Vermilion Energy Inc. (VET: Energy/Oil & Gas E&P) - SQUEEZE PLAY. Tuesday's narrow price range has created a potentially profitable setup in VET, as sellers and buyers find themselves in a near tie for control of price direction. The next short-term trend could go either way, so prepare for a move out of the draw within the next day or so. Set a BUY entry at 21.86 and a SELL short entry at 20.17. Let VET's price action determine your long or short entry. Once the order is filled, place a 1.69 trailing stop, and tighten it to 0.85 upon getting a 1.88 gain. VET closed Tuesday at 21.29. Earnings Report Date: Apr 26, 2022. Beta: 3.54. Market-Cap: 3.455B. Optionable. INDUSTRIALS SECTOR Arconic Corporation (ARNC: Industrials/Metal Fabrication) - BEARISH U-TURN. ARNC's reaction after running into moving average resistance on Tuesday sets up this stock for a Bearish U-Turn trade. Having spent the past few days of moving higher, ARNC is now likely to revert back to its dominant weekly downtrend. Get ready to SELL short shares if ARNC drops to our entry at 24.46. Once in the trade, place a 2.05 trailing stop, which should be tightened to 1.03 after a 3.36 profit. ARNC closed Tuesday at 25.32. Earnings Report Date: May 02, 2022. Beta: N/A. Market-Cap: 2.659B. Optionable. ManpowerGroup Inc. (MAN: Industrials/Staffing & Employment Services) - BEARISH U-TURN. During Tuesday's trading action, MAN encountered solid resistance near its 50 EMA (Exponential Moving Average) and looks ready for a possible reversal. The resulting Bearish U-Turn set-up is the basis for a potential SHORT play, so get ready to enter a position in MAN on a further decline to our trigger at 91.53. Set a 5.79 trailing stop, tightening to 2.9 on a 8.4 gain. MAN ended the latest session at 94.52. Earnings Report Date: Apr 18, 2022. Beta: 1.89. Market-Cap: 5.058B. Optionable. TECHNOLOGY SECTOR Riot Blockchain, Inc. (RIOT: Technology/Software-Application) - SQUEEZE PLAY. RIOT is stuck in a Bull/Bear deadlock. Fortunately for traders this impasse should be resolved soon, with one side or the other taking control. We want to be positioned for a potential quick move up or down, so get ready to catch this train with a BUY entry at 21.68 and a SELL short entry at 19.6. Once your trade is filled, enter a 2.08 trailing stop. Tighten it to 1.04 after a 3 gain. RIOT closed on Tuesday at 20.75. Earnings Report Date: May 16, 2022. Beta: 4.17. Market-Cap: 2.433B. Optionable. IMPORTANT: Before entering any recommended positions, always use the RightLine "Risk Control System" to determine the level of acceptable risk and the maximum number of shares to buy. There is generally a return to normal price behavior in the weeks following a split announcement in what we call a "Dormancy Phase." As the stock nears its split execution date it often moves into the "Pre-Split Run" stage where quick and sometimes dramatic gains can occur. Announce Eff.
